The tour starts from Abano/Montegrotto. Check-in at the hotel and bike fitting. Free time at the spas of Abano and Montegrotto are the perfect way to recover after a long trip and recharge before starting your bike journey through the lands of Venice.

Today's route brings you along the Brenta river in the direction of Piazzola sul Brenta. This small town is home to one of the most beautiful and impressive Palladian villas, also called the small Versailles: Villa Contarini. Then continue on the Treviso-Ostiglia cycle path, which will lead you near Montegalda to cross the Bacchiglione river, towards to the city of Palladio: Vicenza. We suggest you include a stop at the sanctuary of Monte Berico to see the other famous works of Andrea Palladio such as the Villa “La Rotonda”.

Continuing your bike journey toward Bassano del Grappa, you'll traverse a path adorned with picturesque landscapes and artistic marvels, dotted with quaint rural buildings and magnificent villas. Along the way, we encounter Sandrigo, celebrated for its dedication to preserving the tradition of preparing the renowned baccalà alla vicentina. Then on to Marostica, renowned worldwide for its biennial chess game held in the enchanting Piazza degli Scacchi. And let's not forget the delights of the region's typical products, such as succulent cherries! The day culminates in Bassano del Grappa, nestled along the Brenta River at the base of Monte Grappa. Here, the iconic wooden bridge, designed by Palladio, stands as a symbol of the Alpini. Moreover, Bassano del Grappa proudly claims the title of home to Italy's first distillery, Poli.

The ride today takes you to the enchanting Marca Trevigiana, where a visit to Asolo awaits, renowned as the "city of a hundred horizons" and boasting breathtaking views of vineyard-draped hills. Immerse yourself in this idyllic setting, where savoring a glass of Prosecco at one of the charming "osterie" promises to delight all the senses. Optional routes beckon towards Treviso, its historic center nestled within Renaissance walls, inviting exploration and discovery.

Starting at the iconic Piazza dei Signori adorned with the Palazzo dei Trecento, you'll depart from Treviso. Following the banks of the Sile River, Europe's longest spring river, your journey takes you on a delightful descent towards the Venice lagoon. Along the way, you'll come across charming stops like Casier or Casale sul Sile. Upon arriving at Quarto d'Altino, the refreshing sea breeze carries the fragrances of the lagoon, where you'll end your day in Venezia Mestre.

Start the day off by bike from Mestre and cross the lagoon on the Ponte della Libertà to Tronchetto. With the help of inland waterway transport, you will pedal in the indisputed kingdom of birds and wind, among the outermost land strips of the Lagoon, and finally reach the renowned Lido di Venezia, home of the international film festival. You can bike up onto the path built on the "Murazzi", large stone boulders arranged to provide defence against heavy seas, and then through the Alberoni nature reserve with its natural sand dunes covered in wild plants and flowers. This ride brings you to Pellestrina and finally to Chioggia, delightfully known as the "Little Venice".
