We enjoyed a group cycling trip along the Isonzo River with Jonas. Beautiful route in an area of Slovenia amid forests and valleys, with the river winding through gorges sometimes wide, sometimes narrow, creating spectacular effects. I booked a week of trekking in Recoaro Terme with Jonas, including a hiking guide for each day. Our base was the Hotel Trettenero: delightful owners, comfortable rooms, and perfect dinners. Each day we explored different places, from relaxing walks in valleys surrounded by mountains to more challenging hikes in the Prealps. The holiday was well-organized, which was especially appreciated as I was traveling alone and could relax without having to plan routes as I usually do.
