ABSTRACT

The Tuscany Bike Tour explores the historic cities of Lucca and Pisa, crossing the landscapes of Mount Pisano through countryside roads, olive groves, and coastal nature reserves.

This itinerary combines Renaissance villas, medieval villages, panoramic cycling routes, and cultural landmarks, offering a balanced experience of history, gastronomy, nature, and relaxed riding through one of Tuscany’s most authentic regions.

From the elegant walls of Lucca and the famous Leaning Tower of Pisa to the quiet landscapes surrounding Mount Pisano and San Rossore Nature Reserve, travellers experience Tuscany through places where culture, local identity, and everyday life remain deeply connected to the territory.

The journey reveals a slower and more authentic side of Tuscany, combining historic cities, scenic countryside roads, coastal environments, and traditional Tuscan hospitality in a region shaped by art, nature, and centuries of history.

This tour is ideal for:

  • Travellers interested in Tuscany’s historic cities, landscapes, and cultural heritage
  • Leisure cyclists looking for a balanced mix of nature, art, and relaxed cycling
  • Couples, small groups, and FIT travellers seeking authentic Tuscan experiences
  • Clients wanting scenic cycling routes between Lucca, Pisa, and the Tuscan countryside
  • Travellers looking to discover Tuscany beyond the region’s most traditional tourist routes
