We did the Natural Treasures of Western Sicily tour, and it was excellent. We got a very good service from Sergio, and the tour brought us to many very interesting historical sites as well as some beautiful towns and cities. Highlights for me were Erice, and Mazara del Vello. Also Selinunte was very interesting. If you do this tour make sure to take the short detour to Cave di Cusa, an old quarry where you can see how they dug out the huge rocks used to build the temples in the 6th century BC. Fascinating for an engineer like me! We stayed in very good hotels. I highly recommend this tour.

We did the 8 day self guided tour of Western Sicily. We started in Palermo, had overnight stops in trapani, favignana, Marsala, mazara, Selinunte. This was our first time on ebikes. This was our first time in Sicily We were very anxious about how difficult the ride would be. The owners did a marvelous job. They customized the route and lodging and bikes to our needs. They found unique and amazing lodging we would never have found on our own. They innovated routes thru back roads so that most often there were no cars around. They arranged tours with archaeologists, wine and olive masters that are truly the best of Sicily. There is absolutely no better way to experience the real Sicily. These are truly locals, they know Sicily like the back of their hands. We are active retirees. We hope to come back next year with our family and do another route.
