DAILY PROGRAM

  • Day 1: Arrival in Assisi

    Arrive on own to the station in Assisi (connected by rail to Florence and Rome) and settle into your accommodations. Meet a Ciclovery representative for your bike fitting and briefing.

  • Day 2: Assisi – Spoleto

    Today’s ride will take you from Assisi to Spleto riding through the Spoletan Valley. Choose to ride along a simple flat cycleway or, through the spectacular “olive belt”, riding also through Trevi.

  • Day 3: Spoleto - Norcia

    Today's route will take you to Norcia, pedaling along the route created from the old Spoleto - Norcia railway, pedaling where a train once ran, including some completely dark tunnels

  • Day 4: Norcia – Castelluccio - Norcia

    Today we leave from Norcia towards Castelluccio, a town located at the top of a hill which
    it rises on the plateau of the same name, Piani di Castelluccio, which includes 3 floors: Pian
    Grande, Pian Piccolo and Pian Perduto. This is among the largest in Central Italy and included in the Monti National Park
    Sibillini.

    Today we travel the road to return; you cycle again on a stretch of the former railway or a panoramic but uphill stretch almost to the source of the Nera river. then you will immerse yourself in nature again until you reach Sellano, home to a brand new Tibetan bridge

  • Day 6: Sellano - Foligno

    Finally the well-deserved descent, which will characterize today's route through the Menotre valley, another small Umbrian river that originates in a splendid small village called Rasiglia. shortly after you will make a stop at a tavern for a tasting of wines and typical Umbrian products. Upon arrival, Foligno awaits you with its Roman and medieval history.

  • Day 7: Foligno - Assisi

    Today's tour will take you to cycle around Mount Subasio, initially passing through Spello, the city of flower displays, and then through the Mount Subasio park with its small medieval villages that were once castles, until you reach Assisi again, the city of San Francis

  • Day 8: Tour ends in Assisi
