DAILY PROGRAM

  • Day 1: Arrive in Turin

    You spend the first night in the vibrant city of Turin, with a prestigious past evident in the breathtaking Baroque city centre, filled with ornate palaces and churches. Relax with a spa treatments at your hotel in Turin.

    Option to add on a half-day bike ride in the city, depending on your arrival time, or add on an addition night before the tour to explore the city.

  • Day 2: Torino – Pinerolo

    Today's ride takes you on flat cycle paths or secondary roads along the river Po, leading you to the foothills of the mountains. You get to the hunting palaces of Valentino and Stupinigi, royal residence of the family Savoia, a masterpiece of Rococo architecture built by the architect Filippo Juvarra. From there continue on through lovely parkland along the river, bringing you to the lovely town of Pinerolo.

  • Day 3: Pinerolo – Saluzzo

    Today's bike route is flat, winding through orchards and vineyards to Cavour. Explore the intriguing "Rocca" atop a morainic hill, now a protected area. Indulge in a typical Piedmontese meal at a quaint castle. Rest for the night in medieval town of Saluzzo.

  • Day 4: Saluzzo - Cherasco

    Departing from Saluzzo, start your ride towards Fossano with some moderate uphill climbs. There are a lot of historic sites along the way – from the 15th Century frescoes in the castle at Manta to the ancient Roman town of Benevagienna . End the day in Cherasco, a charming town with over seven centuries of culture and art. This evening enjoy an exceptional dinner in on of our favorite local restaurants.

  • Day 5: Cherasco - Alba

    Pedel your way from Cherasco into the Langhe wine-growing region, characterized by rolling hills, vineyards and winding roads. You'll pass by Bra, known as the “the gourmet capital” of the region. Then make your way to to Barolo, pedeling along a few rolling hills. Once you arrivein town, enjoy a wine tasting of the region's iconic Barolo wine, included in the tour. This evening spend the night in Alba, home of the white truffle.

    • Short option: 25 mi / 40km with 1578 ft / 480 m elevation gain
    • Long option: 35 mi / 57 km with 3583 ft / 1092 m elevation gain

  • Day 6: Alba - Asti

    Explore the Langhe region with a magnificent ride through vineyards and along panoramic paths to Asti, in the heart of Monferrato. You have the opportunity to visit the historical centre with its famous towers, romantic monuments and the splendid gothic cathedral.

    • Short option: 22 mi / 35 km with 1401 ft / 427 m elevation gain
    • Long option: 36 mi / 58 km with 2904 ft / 885 m elevation gain

  • Day 7: Asti - Casale

    Today you bike over the charming Monferrato hills to Moncalvo, where you will enjoy a beautiful scenic ride. In the afternoon you reach your final destination - Casale, located on the banks of river Po. Celebrate the end of the tour by exploring this wonderful town with its many churches, castles and ancient courtyards, or simply sit back and toast a great week with a glass of local wine!

  • Day 8: End tour in Casale Monferrato
