ABSTRACT

Resting between these iconic cities is an exciting journey into the green heart of Piedmont, traversing across the border into Lombardy where you’ll encounter many lakes, rivers and canals. Wine tasting awaits you in Gattinara while Pavia showcases an ancient medieval capital and its 14th century “Certosa”, a monumental complex worth exploring. Your grand entrance into Milan will take place along the historic canal of the Naviglio Pavese, a notable symbol of Italy’s now modern capital of commerce.
